back to civilization

i spent a couple of days in the county with my parents, huddled up next to the fire, sipping hot chocolate, reading good books, and eating goodies. i even went shopping a few times, went out for dinner, and to a movie. but mostly, i huddled.

whitney is back at the apartment, minus her troubling tonsils. i am cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, making breakfast, and will shortly go out shopping with my dad for xmas gifts and food. oh, we need food.

i cleaned out the fridge last night. it was not a pretty sight. nope, not at all.

back to work. ooh, laundry. my best friend. sigh.
