deja vu all over again

i burned my hand drinking tea, again. youd think id learn by now. the teapot was too hot to curl my palm around as i carried it, as it turns out. however, its not a second-degree burn this time. its only the slightest bit blistered and is smaller than my thumbnail, so it should be fine. i definitely wont get scarring like i did last time.

fussing about that kept me from getting too nervous at the black honey gig tonight. it went really well, but i wish that i had been less stressed about this essay and such so i could have relaxed and been more open with the audience. people said great things about my performance and my lyrics, and were amazed that all of my songs are originals.. so that makes me feel warm even in my cold apt.

time to finally get this essay done, though, even if i just get a 60 or 70.
