lyrics to god said no by dan bern. great song. i love it. great song. tomorrow i will hate it. today i love it. so yah. good ol fickle emotions. its great because it mentions kurt cobain, hitler, and jesus, all in one song. yup. also, it touches on the fact that some religious people believe in God because they are told that they should, they are told to pray, they are told that they will be forgiven and go to heaven or some other story. they believe that God is there to serve them, though in many religions the opposite is supposed to happen. im not really sure what i believe.. im glad though, to see that someone believes that God sees people how people really are, not just as old testament creations or anything, and that people cannot hide that from Him, no matter how often they pray, how often the sing in Jesus name, or how often they tolerate their neighbour and try to disguise it as love. so yah. im off on a crazy tangent now...it now barely relates to this song, but oh well. so very oh well.
