my cadd9 and dsus2 chords, as well as my delicate yet pointed voice caused my friend to fall in love with acoustic folk music again. it convinced him to purchase a steel-stringed acoustic guitar to accompany my classical guitar and honest lyrics. i reminded him that he wanted to spend the money on another bass guitar and sparkling amp, but he shushed me. he sees promise in my music and wants to help in any way he can. he says i inspire him and that i have the voice that captures people for hours, even when im just telling jokes or complaining about my flat a-string.
